Ash Scherer

Our mission is to form a source for connection, resources, education and community while addressing controversial and sensitive topics. I’ve carried many years of guilt and shame for bringing my child into a world that I had not envisioned for us. I struggled with conflicting feelings since the beginning of my pregnancy and felt like I was incapable of connecting with the fetus, the way everyone else said I was supposed to. I lost the connection to my body and mind but realized I never had one with my soul. I didn’t know who I was or who I was allowed to be.  Once I began sharing my work publicly, I realized that I wasn’t alone, people just felt too ashamed to say it aloud. We are here to destigmatize mental health, postpartum depression (PPD), gender roles, sexuality, queer identities and alternative lifestyles. We are here to cultivate young minds with emphasis on creative thinking, community and self-awareness. We are here to inspire and motivate young parents to pursue their passions and find ways to incorporate their children. We are here to tell you; you can be more than what the world says you have to be. We are here to validate and discuss those hard unspoken truths of the world. We are here.
